These guys have a special place in my heart. This band falls in the family of two of my favorite local San Diego bands....Spare Change and Rochelle, Rochelle. Rochelle, Rochelle played my second Socialjunkie
Musicfest (
http://www.socialjunkie.com/musicfest/2002/). Their live shows are energetic. You'll find yourself singing the songs in your head. Between the melodic guitar work, the heavy bass, and Eric's distinguishable vocals it's easy to like
their music. Check them out and go see them live in San Diego.

Golden Earring – The Naked Truth
The best rockband ever to come out of Holland enjoyed international success with 70s rock anthem "Radar Love" and in the 80s with "Twilight Zone" and "When the Lady Smiles". They made a lot more good music than that though and after the
success that all the unplugged albums were having in the early 90s they released a live acoustic album of their own in 1992 called "The Naked Truth". It was immensely successful in Holland and they started performing "unplugged" concerts
throughout the land, all sold out. Formed in 1961 and still performing regularly, almost in the same setup, they are a band perfectly in tune with each other, add to that Barry Hay's authentic rock-voice and one of the best drummers on the
planet, Cesar Zuiderwijk (just listen to "Radar Love"). On this album excellent versions of "Another 45 Miles", "Long Blond Animal", "Weekend Love", "I Can't Sleep Without You" and more. If you feel like some great rock music, listen to
"The Naked Truth".

Dan Barta |

Some of the finest Jazz the Czech Republic has to offer. Recently acquired his CD at a small wine and music shop in the popular town of Cesky Krumlov. A small smorgasbord of musicians blending all their instruments
together for a sweet sound. Everyone needs jazz in their collection, and having international jazz is that much better. You can find Dan Barta and the Illustratosphere on iTunes.
